Estrella Alonso

A Bit About Me

I am a Spanish performer and writer living in Madrid.

I have trained at Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company and I graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with First Class Honors in Writing for Performance BA

I love clown, reading, and female led stories about memory and the past.

Estrella was born in Madrid, Spain, and from a very early age she was captivated by storytelling.

In 2016 she moved to London to train at Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company. Estrella discovered her passion for moving and clowning when training with Guillaume Pigé from Theatre Re and Stephen Sobal from All In. She also started devising her own work which lead her to start studying Writing for Performance at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2019.

Recently, Estrella has written and performed her one woman show El Lute y nosotras o cómo recordamos directed by David Luque which sold out in 2022.

Estrella has taken part in Angeles Gonzalez Sinde latest film, El Comensal, produced by Tornasol Media, in the supporting role of Hermana. She has also participated in the new series That Dirty Black Bag directed by Mauro Aragoni and produced by BRON Studios, in the role of Gloria.

Estrella has performed at the Cervantes Theatre in The House of Bernarda Alba directed by Jorge de Juan, as well as in The Old Masters directed by Paula Paz in both Spanish and English. She has also performed her own work both on stage and on short film format.

Estrella is a bilingual actor and writer fluent in both English and Spanish, with knowledge in stage combat (armed and unarmed). She is a confident mover and an avid reader.
